Opening with vivid imagery of creation proclaiming God’s glory, the song invites listeners into a reverent response of worship as heaven and earth unite in praise. Anchored by the soaring chorus–“Great and glorious God / Father, Spirit, Son / Holy, three in one”–the anthem offers churches a bold yet deeply singable declaration rooted in the wonder of the Trinity.
Featuring warm, expressive lead vocals from Anne Elise Sherrod alongside the dynamic harmonies of The Calvin University Gospel Choir, the track carries both an intimate and a corporate spirit of worship. The Ezra Worship Initiative is a 10-week seminary-based internship program dedicated to equipping the next generation of worship leaders through strong biblical theology, leadership development, musicianship, and practical worship training. In addition to leadership development, the Initiative serves as a songwriting collective focused on creating modern congregational worship music that bridges historical depth with fresh musical expression.
