Brightstar have released their latest single, Fading Echoes (2026). This is a re-imagining of the first single they released back in January of 2025. "While we loved the first recording, it still didn't have that raw edge we were wanting in the finished product. So, now that we've found our lane, we changed that! "Fading Echoes (2026) was written from a place of grief. Both from the passing of my father in my early 20s, and divorce later in life. No matter how we might lose someone, there are times when we can't seem to let them go. We might think we see them walking down the sidewalk, hear them in another room, or experience a familiar smell. This song expresses the internal struggle we might have speaking with God while experiencing the pull of not being able to let something go.
Our previous single, What Lives In Me, peaked at #3 on the Christian Music Weekly rock chart and is STILL floating around in the Top 10 after 23 weeks.
Also, this last weekend, Brightstar made our live premier at Kingdom Come Festival in Greentown, Indiana. Playing on the same bill as some pretty incredible names in our format was an honor. The entire experience had a huge impact on us. Especially after reading an email that was sent to us later in the day:
'I just saw you at KCF in Kokomo Indiana. I wanted to talk to you but it was really busy. You all touched my heart so deeply. Thank you for coming and for following the path God set out for you. Congrats on going for your masters degree. I was diagnosed autistic about a year ago. I am 35 so it’s been difficult this last year going through the hurt and grief of what could have been I guess. Your songs really helped.'
That is exactly the impact we want to be making through these songs and through the larger work of Brightstar Ministries, Inc.
Later this year, I have a new book coming out that will be released alongside a new single that touches on struggles with mental health and neurodivergence throughout my life. We can't wait for that!"
