Built around honest lyrics and a soaring chorus, the song reflects the tension between believing God can save us for eternity while struggling to trust Him with today's burdens.
"I have no problem believing that God is capable of saving my soul," Riggan shares. "But I have sometimes questioned if He can be trusted to supply my needs and help me through when things get tough."
That vulnerable confession finds its answer in one of the song's most poignant moments:
"Help me to know / If I trust You with my soul / I can trust You with my heart..."
Rather than offering easy answers, "Broken Pieces" acknowledges the reality of pain while pointing listeners toward the hope found in God's restoring work. It is a reminder that the Good Shepherd still gathers what has been broken, smooths the jagged edges, and brings healing where it once seemed impossible.

Recently signing with NRT Music, Riggan enters this new chapter with growing momentum. His career has taken him across four continents and includes a No. 1 Christian radio single, multiple Top 20 songs, recognition from the Dove Awards, and honors from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
