Channeling influences like Breaking Benjamin, Architects, Sevendust and Wage War, Atlaslight delivers a powerful blend of crushing riffs, melodic hooks and raw emotion. Their fusion of alternative metal, hard rock and nu-metal is perfectly displayed in the brooding new single “More,” which asks the question that burns deep inside.
“It’s a question that you may be scared to ask but you just can’t shake. You search and search for it, but you keep coming back. Eventually this civil war inside you boils over to a moment of intense frustration and revelation. The question: what is this all for?” the band shares. “You know there is something more out there, but you don't know exactly what it is. You know that once you find it, there is no going back.”
That sense of standing on the precipice infuses “More” with urgency. Cowritten with Rhyan Shirley (Colton Dixon, Jordan St. Cyr) and with production from Seventh Day Slumber’s Weston Evans, “More” promises to introduce Atlaslight to listeners who are asking the same existential questions the band themselves present with every searing riff.
Atlaslight is a Nashville, Tennessee-based band who tackles themes of struggle, identity, resilience and transformation. Building a repertoire of original music, offering immersive visual production and consistently delivering memorable live performances, Atlaslight is gaining momentum in the rock and metal scene. “More” is the latest proof that listeners should tune in and pay attention: both to the band and to the questions they’re asking.
You can stream “More” now on your streaming service of choice.
