The release not only marks a bold reemergence for the duo, but also introduces a new chapter as they officially join the NRT Music roster–continuing the label's mission to champion diverse, independent voices across the Christian music landscape.
Written by Brandon Bee and Gabe Martinez and produced by Bee, "Keep Me" is a gritty, soul-stirring anthem born from an unexpected moment. What began as a throwaway soundcheck riff became the driving, blues-soaked backbone of a track that captures the tension between human struggle and divine grace. With raspy, heartfelt vocals, relentless slide guitar, and haunting harmonica, the song unfolds like a Sunday-night tent-meeting testimony fused with a Delta-blues confessional–anchored in a desperate, hopeful prayer for God's unrelenting love to hold on and never let go.
Lyrically, "Keep Me" leans into the realities of spiritual battle and surrender, echoing the push-and-pull between faith and temptation. Lines like "the lust, the flesh, and the pride of life wants to turn my heart from thee" bring an unfiltered honesty, while the recurring cry–"God won't you keep me for your own"–grounds the song in a deeply personal and relatable plea for perseverance and grace.
StompTown Revival has always carried a distinct sound that feels both timeless and untamed. Built around Circleslide frontman Gabe Martinez and producer-turned-frontman Brandon Bee, the St. Louis-via-Seattle duo blends front-porch Americana with gospel urgency–wheezing harmonicas, greasy slide guitar, hand-hewn acoustic riffs, and a stompbox pulse that drives every performance. Their breakout self-titled EP in 2012 landed on Billboard's Christian and Heatseekers charts, introducing audiences to a revivalist energy that felt equally at home in a juke joint or a church basement.
Now in 2026, with renewed purpose and creative fire, StompTown Revival returns not as a nostalgic act, but as a revitalized voice in today's Christian music space. Their partnership with NRT Music positions them alongside a growing roster of independent artists who are redefining the boundaries of genre and expression, bringing authenticity and conviction back to the forefront.
"It's always an honor when I get to work with a group I followed decades ago when I was first discovering Christian music," says NRT Music founder, Kevin McNeese. "Brandon and Gabe are an incredibly unique and talented duo, and I'm so excited to both reconnect with their voices and help bring their new music to another generation."
"Keep Me" is a reminder that no matter how far we run or how strong the pull of the world becomes, there is still a God who calls, keeps, and never lets go.
