College Street Worship Releases 'Hope Like Fire' & 'All For Freedom'

Oct 23 2020

Canada's College Street Worship have released two singles, 'Hope Like Fire' and 'All For Freedom', ahead of the release of an EP next year. College Street Worship is comprised of Rudy Stoesz (vocals, keys and guitar), Stephanie Stoesz (vocals and keys) and Darcy Harasym (drums). They lead the worship band at College Street Victory Church in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

The church was launched at the beginning of 2020, and since then the band has written and released two songs, All For Freedom and Hope Like Fire. They are currently working on an EP set to be released in 2021. Hope Like Fire was written to be an upbeat, energetic praise song based on Jeremiah 20:9 where it says "But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!"

Hope Like Fire was released on September 25, 2020 and debuted at #2 on the Canadian iTunes inspirational charts while All For Freedom was simultaneously in the top 50 Canadian inspirational songs on iTunes as well. Hope Like Fire already has nearly 500 streams on Spotify alone, and is gaining momentum on other platforms as well.
