John Ellis Announces Plans For Debut Solo Album
South African singer/songwriter John Ellis, one of the founding members of popular worship band Tree63, has announced plans to record his debut solo album. John has just signed with Broken Records, who are based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with whom he will release the album.
"I signed with Broken Records last week, in Joburg. I will be playing all over SA this year, as well as recording my first solo record. Look out for songs soon", said John.
In November 2009 Tree63 reunited after a year apart for a ten-date Canadian Tour. John has also recently been performing in South Africa alongside rock band Reason as part of the 'RE:Generation Tour' which continues in Johannesburg and Cape Town later this month and into February.
