pureNRG To End In 2010 With Final Album And Tour

Feb 08 2010

Teenage pop group pureNRG have announced that they will be ending later this year. Before the group finishes they will be heading into the studio this spring to record several songs for a best-of CD/DVD, to be released on 20th July. They will also perform a farewell Tour this Fall. The group, who consist of Jordan, Caroline and Carolyne, said, "It's been a really difficult decision because we know that God called us into pureNRG, but now we feel He's calling us on to other things. All three of us plan to continue pursuing music and keeping active in our mission work, but for right now we want to live our lives like other kids our age and have the time for school, sports and hangin' with friends."

Fans will be able to choose which songs the group record for the album via the pureNRG website, and have an opportunity to help choose the CD cover and inside pictures.

pureNRG were signed to Fervent Records in March 2007, releasing their self-titled debut in May 2007. This was followed by 'Here We Go Again' (2008) and their latest album 'The Real Thing' in July 2009.
