HeIsTheArtist Releases 'Childish' Ahead of New EP
Acclaimed and eclectic Christian R&B / Neo Soul singer-songwriter HeIsTheArtist has released his new single 'Childish'. It is taken from his new EP, 'The Book Of Mary' out on April 30th (MTS Records).
Earlier this year HeIsTheArtist released the powerful, single, 'Virgin', the follow-up track to his well received version of 'Landslide' by Fleetwood Mac.
Hailing from Central Islip, NY and formerly signed under his birth name, LeeMann Bassey recorded and released secular R&B and dance music for Bentley Records. Inspired to release Christian music after hearing a sermon by Bishop TD Jakes, HeIsTheArtist cites influences including Prince, Chaka Khan, Sade, Maxwell, and D'Angelo.
