Michael & Becci Ball Return With New Single 'One Day'
UK worship leaders Michael & Becci Ball return with 'One Day', their new stripped back single releasing June 4th.
Sonically, the song has an acoustic, folky feel that makes it a very intimate track, speaking of the joys and the heartache of a life pursuing Jesus. Sometimes we feel so distant, sometimes we can feel Him so close; but in it all we can hold on to His Word. The chorus is a proclamation of our eternal hope: that the day is coming when we will see Him face to face, and that we will be together, with Him, for all eternity.
'One Day' follows the 2019 release of their debut album 'Holy One' which included the singles, 'Sing Over Me', 'In Every Season' and 'Worth My Time', and was released by Furnace Music in partnership with Integrity Music.
"There's an incredible privilege in leading people in worship", the duo explain. "In its purest form, worship is a response to the worth of God and so to lead a room of people in a corporate expression of what is a very personal experience is a beautiful responsibility which we count as a honour to get to play our part in.
We've been leading worship together, in one form or another, since 2002; in small groups, churches, with friends, and most recently in the house of prayer here in Manchester. Our heart is that through the music we write, sing, release, and lead, we are connecting people to the heart of God, that we all might see Him for who He is and grow in intimate connection with the one who hung the stars in the sky and who has our names written on the palm of His hand."
