Jamie Kimmett Releases 'Angels We Have Heard On High' With a 'Scottish Flair'
Jamie Kimmett has released his "Vibey 'N' Cozy" Christmas track, a rendition of the classic carol 'Angels We Have Heard On High'. Produced by Chris August, the song is described as a "coffeehouse / fireplace ready version, with a Scottish Flair!".
"Gloria in Excelsis Deo! I have always loved this song and I'm delighted to cover it this year", said Jamie. "It has special significance in this season as I was involved in a horrific car accident over the summer. Doctors said it was a 1000-1 shot that I'd survive. In other words, what I experienced was a miracle. It's given me a new appreciation for life and for the miracle of Christmas. Christ’s birth-life is precious and I want to spend the rest of my mine making music, ministering to others and gratefully singing, 'Glory to God in the Highest'!"
