Jonathan Veira Releases 'The Lockdown Sessions, Vol. 3: It's Christmastime'
Bass baritone, singer and entertainer Jonathan Veira has released his new Christmas album 'The Lockdown Sessions Vol 3 - It's Christmastime' featuring the JV Lockdown Community Choir. The album features twelve Christmas favourites and carols, including Jonathan's version of Graham Kendrick's 'Adore'.
With a voice like melting chocolate, Jonathan brings a charismatic and evocative approach to some of our favourite Christmas songs and carols. While retaining their much-loved charm, his beautiful renditions of timeless tunes, with wonderful instrumentation and spine-tingling orchestrations, provide a fresh way of celebrating the wonders of this season.
Jonathan’s considerable vocal and comic talents have resulted in him singing many of the leading comic baritone roles. These have received universal critical acclaim.
In addition to his operatic roles, Jonathan regularly broadcasts on BBC radio and television and has recorded numerous CD's and television programs in many genres including light entertainment and religious broadcasting, particularly with Songs of Praise.
