No False Lemmas To Release Debut Album 'Transition'

Dec 30 2021

No False Lemmas will release their debut album 'Transition' on February 4th 2022, with the first track 'Escape' available on January 21st 2022. With melodic trumpet, frenetic sax, soulful piano, burbling synths, grooving bass and angular electronics, No False Lemmas have been described as sounding something like Miles Davis meets Air with a touch of Olafur Arnalds.

Fused with contributions from writers and actors spanning 3 generations, their debut album, 'Transition' explores 8 ways of living life from Vanity, Symbiosis, Truth, Conflict, Indulgence, Escape and Agape to Grace.

"'Transition' was recorded mainly in Swansea in South Wales but with some of the narrations recorded remotely during lockdown using any equipment to hand - mobile phone, zoom etc. We planned, we structured and crucially we improvised. We recorded voices, saxophone, trumpet, flugelhorn, guitar, bass, piano, synthesizers both hardware and software, new and old. There are even some samples too."
