Jake Isaac Releases 'Still' From His Stabal Session

Feb 22 2022

Stabal have released their first single of 2022 across all digital platforms, called 'Still' featuring talented south London, UK, artist Jake Isaac. Jake's intimate performance of 'Still' was captured live from the online release event for his 2021 studio album, 'Honesty' - a vulnerable exploration into love and relationships as a black man in the 21st Century.

The South Londoner distinctive style of singer songwriter-meets-soul earns him widespread plaudits, yet he invites his audiences into his world when he plays, and his gentle manner and fragile lyrics make for a humble and honest experience.

'Still' is a lullaby for a turbulent mind with comforting sentiment and soothing sonics.

Born and raised in south London, UK, Isaac began playing drums at the age of 3 and during his school years taught himself to play piano and bass guitar. By the age of 16 he had completed his grade 8 drums and had begun teaching the instrument.
By 19, Isaac had begun to make a living as a part-time session musician playing drums and bass on various jazz and rock records for a variety of international artists, including the Grammy-award winning Duffy.

Jake’s distinctive style of singer songwriter / soul with has earned him widespread plaudits as a singer and multi-instrumentalist selling out headline shows in the UK, Germany, USA, Netherlands and across Europe and also earned him a place as one of the winners of the highly acclaimed International Songwriters Competition award 2020.
