Walker Jr Releases New Single 'It Won't Last'

May 12 2022

Walker Jr. is set to release 'It Won't Last' on The National Day of Prayer, May 5, 2022. This song is in follow up to his last smash single “Jerusalem” released in 2021.

Hailing from Memphis, TN, Donald Walker Jr. is proudly forging ahead in the music industry. This song speaks to the trying times we are in today. We all go through problems and struggles, but just remember we are going “through”. Troubles will come, but what a great reminder that our problems won’t last always. This foot-stomping, hand-clapping anthem is sure to be a huge hit across all genres and ages.

“Releasing this song on The National Day of Prayer just feels right. It’s so important to pray, give our problems to God and believe that whatever we’re going through won’t last”, says Walker Jr.

“It Won’t Last” was written, arranged, and executively produced by Walker Jr. Additional producers are DJ CEO and Prince Djae who served as the vocal producer. This collaboration has produced a hit that will resonate for years to come.

Walker's ongoing evolution as a young pastor, singer, and songwriter is exciting to witness. With a string of songs in a few short years, this gift continues to make room for Walker Jr. as his influence on Gospel music expands with this current release, “It Won’t Last.” Pre-order is across all digital platforms. Official release date is Thursday, May 5, 2022.
