Big Church Day Out Early Bird Tickets Ending Soon

Apr 09 2010

The early bird ticket offer for this year's Big Church Day Out events in the UK ends on 25th April, after which ticket prices will increase. Now in its second year, Big Church Day Out has been expanded to three dates across two different locations. The event will take place at Stanford Hall in the Midlands on Saturday 29th May and at Wiston House in West Sussex on Sunday 30th May and Bank Holiday Monday 31st May.

The lineup is headed by US mega-group Switchfoot, who recently released their brand new album 'Hello Hurricane'. Other big names performing at all three days of the event include Australia's Hillsong United, former DC Talk singer Toby Mac, Israel Houghton, Brenton Brown, British worship leaders Tim Hughes and Graham Kendrick, Phatfish singer Lou Fellingham and groups Tom & Olly and LZ7. The lineup also includes classical music from Stuart Pendred and Kings Chamber Orchestra. British bands Trent and Bosh (Wiston only) will also be performing.

Tickets are available now from the event website: www.bigchurchdayout.co.uk. Tickets purchased during the 'Early Bird' phase will be substantially cheaper than the on-the-gate price, assuming tickets haven't sold out by then. There are also big discounts for group bookings.

Say the organisers, "2010 will see us taking the BigChurchDayOut to even more people. Wiston was a sell-out in 2009. In fact, we were the UK's biggest one-day Christian event, in our first year! So, we're adding a second date rather than increasing the capacity on one day. You get to choose between coming on Sunday or Monday. Whichever day you choose, you'll enjoy the same lineup. We're delighted to announce a second venue Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, just a few minutes off J24 of the M1. Like Wiston, Stanford is a beautiful estate, offering wonderful opportunities for worship and celebration. You'll find the same lineup on the Main Stage and the same quality of catering; in short, you'll enjoy the Stanford experience just as much as the Wiston one!"
