Andrew Gonoude Releases Two New Songs Ahead Of New EP
Andrew Gonoude is an English Christian artist, songwriter and worship leader from South UK, who has been singing and playing guitar for 35 years. He has served with many churches and music teams in the UK, USA, India, Ireland, Russia and Switzerland. Andrew is currently working on a new acoustic EP 'Audience Of One' and is releasing music from the EP every month.
On 1st December 2022 he released the first song, 'Tears For The Lost'. The second song, 'Everything Is Beautiful', will be released on 1st January 2023. Andrew’s music can be found on all streaming and download sites and he can also be followed on all the major social media platforms.
'Everything Is Beautiful' is a passionate and up-beat rhythmic song. It celebrates God’s creative power, quoting Psalm 19 - ‘’The heavens declare the glory of God, day after day they pour forth speech’’ and Psalm 8 - ''Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth. From the lips of children and infants, you have ordained praise.'' It features musicians from Andrew’s church; his wife on piano, a bass player and a large children’s choir. Finally, the Producer also played the drums! Andrew says: ‘’it was a lot of fun and the most exciting project I’ve ever been involved in.’’
'Tears for The Lost' is a prayer and a heart-cry for God to increase our compassion for this hurting world. To feel what he feels, to ache with what makes his heart ache. To be a father to orphans, and to have time for anyone who feels unloved, lonely or just “lost.’’ It was written during a prayer meeting in response to a pastor who asked God to let us see the world as God sees it, the line in v2 says it all: ‘’Let the Shepherd’s heart be mine.’’ Andrew says: ‘’My prayer is that the listener will be moved to love those around him/her, in the way that Christ first loved us; by laying down his life for others.’’
