John Mark McMillan Tours With Gungor Ahead Of New Album 'The Medicine'
Indie-rocker John Mark McMillan will be joined by Gungor for the 'Out Of The Ground Tour' over the next two weeks. Kicking off tomorrow, 27th May in Lynden, Washington and continuing until 7th June in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the eight date tour comes ahead of the release of John's new album 'The Medicine' on 6th July.
Best known as the writer of the song 'How He Loves', John's music is described as "gutsy, poetic rock’n’roll" by Integrity Music. Before signing to Integrity, John released the album independently as a 10 track CD. But the album is now set for it's label launch, expanded to 14 tracks, including the single 'How He Loves' and the tour title track 'Out Of The Ground'.
Four piece band Gungor released their second album 'Beautiful Things' earlier this year, with guest vocals from Israel Houghton on the track 'Heaven'. Lead singer Michael Gungor is best known for co-writing distinguished songs like 'Friend of God' and 'Say So', which were made famous by Israel Houghton.
