Downhere Release B-Sides Album At Festivals & Plan New Album
Canadian four piece rock band Downhere will be releasing a special 2-disc album titled 'Two At A Time: Sneak Peeks and B Sides' this summer. The album will only be available from the band's merchandise table at forthcoming summer festival appearances, and digitally online from 1st June.
The first disc contains the band's current single 'You're Not Alone' plus new song 'The Song You Sing', both destined for Downhere's new full length studio album due out in December. The second disc contains nine B-Sides and rarities from the band.
In an exclusive interview with LouderThanTheMusic earlier this year, Downhere said "We will be recording our new record this year with plans to release it just before Christmas." They also went on to describe the B-Sides album as "a bunch of songs that we've recorded over the years that just didn't fit in with the album or were used for other projects. We've had these for a while and have been waiting for a good opportunity to release them."
The band have been working on new songs with producer Mark Heimermann, who also produced songs on their previous two albums. Downhere kick off their summer festival season with two UK performances, Frenzy Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland and Fuel Festival in Ballymena, Northern Ireland in June. They will then be appearing at a number of US festivals including Atlanta Fest, Creation Festival, Spirit West Coast, LifeFest and Kingdombound.
