Aleks Niedra Makes Praise And Worship Debut With New Single 'Everything I Need'
Aleks Niedra is a Mississauga-based musician, songwriter and music producer. Aleks was born and raised in Toronto and grew up attending mass at St. Cecilia’s church. It was in 2016 that Aleks encountered Christ through his reversion to his faith, at a praise and worship night at the McMaster University catholic chaplaincy in Hamilton, Ontario.
Having been active in music ministry in retreat, liturgical and event settings, Aleks felt the call in early 2023 to bring his years of personal, prayerful songwriting out into the world with his first single, “Everything I Needâ€.
As his first published release, “Everything I Need†embodies Aleks’ personal reversion experience in a vibrant, high-energy song of praise to our Lord. Written in his and his wife’s Toronto living room in 2021, the song is reminiscent of the night of Aleks’ reversion and is a song “meant to be sung by allâ€.
“I’m very excited to be sharing these fruits of my reversion experience with the world through musicâ€, says Niedra. “I pray that the Lord may continue His work and others can experience His truth, beauty, and goodness through music, as I didâ€, says Aleks.
