I.AM Releases Music Video For '98 (newsong)'
Alex McKee’s music project, I.AM, just released a new music video for the first track of his recent EP, 150.1. The song, “98 (newsong)†is an instrumental, electronic track that features heavy synth, pounding drums and a touch of melancholy.
The goal of I.AM is to produce left of center worship music for people unhappy in the presence of God The video features McKee, in his acting debut, alongside his wife, (both in real life and in the video) Mindy.
The video has had an immediate, positive response, as YouTube viewers have chimed in with “Lovely cinematography, music, and acting" (@rachaelwardyn602) and “This is so fantastic on every level†(@dorothyymariee).
I.AM is a music project for those who don’t always feel happy in the presence of God, but believe God still wants to be near them even in those moments. I.AM is the artist name for multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter Alex McKee. 150.1 is his first collection of adapted, emotionally honest Psalms set to a lo-fi, electronic soundscape.
