Brighton Worship Leader Jess Debenham Launches Crowdfunder For New Album 'Much Better'
Worship leader and singer, songwriter Jess Debenham, from Brighton, UK, has begun a Crowdfunder Campaign for her debut album, 'Much Better'.
"In February 2024 I am going to be recording my debut album: MUCH BETTER! This album is based on the personal journey God has led me on from legalism and lies to freedom in His (The) truth", she explains. "For everyone who hears these songs, I am believing for fresh revelation of our Saviour Jesus Christ, for encounters with the Holy Spirit, and for freedom. So far I have worked and saved to release my singles but this album requires more than I can financially cover myself. So I have launched a Crowdfunder! There is definitely vulnerability in doing this but that also makes it exciting because it means I have to fully trust in God to provide. And He often uses other people to bring that provision in.
My heart for this album is to do a live recording in February. I could think of no better way to record this album than a live, in-person, authentic worship time together! To come together and lift our praises, exhort our own spirits, and encourage each others’ in a way many haven’t been able to enjoy since before the pandemic! I hope that, for those of you who can attend, it does your heart good."
