UK Worship Leader Chris Shackleton Returns With New Album, 'Elder'
Independent artist and worship leader from Crewe Chris Shackleton has released his new ten-song album 'Elder', available now on all streaming platforms.
"I always wanted to make a chamber pop album like Mercury Rev's Deserter's songs, so I finally got round to it", revealed Chris. "I called it Elder as I am approaching 50 and like most 50 year old's, I've experienced a lot of life and death, ups and downs, famines and feasts in this time.
I hope this album reflects that. It is expressed in the language of my own faith in Christ but the journey through life and death is one that belongs to us all!"
'Elder' follows Chris' previous album 'Home is where the heart is', released last year. Prior to that he released 4 singles in 2022.
