KDMusic Releases A Song For Weary Christians: 'Skipping Church'
KDMusic has released a new singer/songwriter song titled 'Skipping church'. The man behind the project. Dave Whitcroft, a guitarist & songwriter from N.Ireland, describes it as "a song for weary Christians, still on theme for my Christian audience but a brief departure from producing songs for congregational worship."
This is one of the last few songs leading up to an album of worship songs and hymns with a Scots-Irish flavour, designed for ordinary churches to sing, because the tunes are easy to pick up and bring home when you leave church. It’ll be called 'The Grace ~ Scots Irish worship from Lisnabreeny Hill Fort'.
KDMusic is Dave's collaboration with musician friends from regional Christian events - between them they've served in the UK, Europe, North America, Southern Africa & SE Asia (but not all together!)
Dave says "Music is the oxygen I need to work through how faith meets everyday life. I'm a singer-songwriter, a storyteller at heart."
You'll find songs about joy & longing, celebration & loss, alongside worship music for all generations. KDMusic's 'Eclectic gospel' blends a wide range of styles built around folk, rock & blues guitar.
