Jemimah Paine Releases 'Heliotrope' Ahead of New Album 'Reason'

Aug 08 2025

'Heliotrope' is the third single from Jemimah Paine's forthcoming debut album, Reason.

The title refers to one of Jemimah’s favourite colours, and she uses this unique word to convey her message in the song: a desire to let go of the world’s opinions and embrace her true identity in God.

Her beauty, she asserts, is found in Him, not in the standards of the world. With its infectious pop feel, ‘Heliotrope’ is sure to have you tapping your feet while reflecting on the deeper message within.

Jemimah is a London-based music artist originally from Guernsey, known for blending soulful pop with introspective, faith-driven lyrics. Since moving to London in 2014 to study Theology, Music & Worship, she has steadily built a presence in the Christian music scene.

Following two EPs - Anthems (2020) and Friend (2021) - and her 2023 release Colour, Jemimah is now preparing to release her most anticipated project yet: a 7-track album exploring grace, redemption, and God’s unending love. This collection marks a new chapter in her artistry, combining worship anthems with reflective ballads that encourage deeper connection with faith.

She’s performed on BBC 1’s Sunday Morning Live, supported Martin Smith on tour, and received accolades including Best Pop Artist at the 2022 TMMP Awards. Her music has been featured on UCB, BBC Radio, and Konnect, and she’s shared stages with Graham Kendrick, Leeland, and Jake Isaac. With heartfelt lyrics and a growing impact, Jemimah’s upcoming debut album Reason promises to inspire and uplift - inviting listeners into a richer experience of God’s presence.
