Ayarna’s latest release, Copy, marks the beginning of a bold new era in her musical journey. Born out of a place of honesty and vulnerability, the track reflects her personal experiences - particularly the pain of betrayal by friends - and highlights the power of forgiveness and the call to reflect Christ, even in difficult moments.
While her earlier work was rooted in rap and Drill-inspired sounds, 2025 signals a turning point in Ayarna’s artistic evolution. Driven by a deepening connection to her cultural roots and a desire for creative growth, she is now embracing what she calls “Gospel-infused Dancehall.” This shift is both deliberate and deeply personal. Drawing from her Caribbean heritage, Ayarna sees this genre as an authentic expression of who she is.
