John Stratton Releases New Single 'The Curse Is Broken'
John Stratton has released his new single, 'The Curse Is Broken,' a bold declaration of the gospel and the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
Co-written with Robby Busick and Mckendree Tucker, the song proclaims the victory of Jesus’ death and resurrection, which destroyed the power of Hell and darkness.
The message is clear: evil no longer reigns, and believers are free from every curse, lie, and bondage of the enemy. “This song was birthed during a ministry night where we kept declaring, ‘The curse is broken, Your blood has spoken,’” says Stratton. “Our prayer is that it becomes an anthem of deliverance that those battling anxiety, depression, addiction, or even suicidal thoughts would encounter the freedom and hope that only Jesus brings.”
Anchored in Scripture, “The Curse Is Broken” draws from Galatians 3:13–14 and 2 Timothy 1:7, reminding listeners that Christ has redeemed us from the curse and given us power, love, and a sound mind.
