Presence Music Releases Hopeful New Single 'Found In The Hurt'
Presence Music, the dynamic pop worship band from Duluth, MN, has released their powerful new single, “Found In The Hurt,” available everywhere September 19, 2025 via NRT Music / Syntax Creative. The song’s official music video is also now available for viewing, adding a visual layer to the track’s message of hope and perseverance.
Written by lead singer Leah Monson with co-writing and production by Tyler Moody, the track was born from Leah’s personal journey through depression, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. In that season of darkness, she encountered God’s peace, purpose, and hope — even when healing didn’t look the way she expected. “Found In The Hurt” offers a vulnerable reminder that sometimes the miracle isn’t found in escaping pain, but in discovering God’s presence and hope within it. The song blends heartfelt worship with infectious pop sensibility, making it a strong fit for both radio and streaming playlists.
“Found in the Hurt was born out of my journey with PTSD and the question, ‘God, why haven’t you healed me yet?’” shares Monson. “One day, He did—but until then, I learned that sometimes the miracle is hidden in the pain. Whatever the outcome, God has a purpose and walks with us every step.”
With “Found In The Hurt,” Presence Music continues to expand a catalog marked by authenticity, energy, and ministry impact. Known for creating songs that resonate in both personal listening and corporate worship settings, the band’s live performances have become a hallmark of their ministry, drawing audiences into moments of joy, honesty, and worship.
“Found In The Hurt” is available now on all digital platforms.
