New Wine Worship have released their brand-new live album, Praise King Jesus, which was recorded live at this summer’s New Wine Festival.

Produced by Jonny Bird, the album features worship leaders from across the New Wine Worship collective - with songwriting contributions from a range of voices across the UK worship movement.

The album opens with the two very upbeat praise songs with 'Praise God' & 'So Good' with both being solid high energy worship songs that are ready to be sung together together as one as a church family. I have to admit I had not heard the song 'Ancient Of Days' for a while but I loved hearing it on here led by the brilliant Sharyn, it is sung with such passion and power.

The album is centered around the title track 'Praise King Jesus' which is a great track, it's a very gentle modern worship song but also feels like it could easily have been a hymn. But this song is all about singing The powerful truth of Jesus is worthy of every song, every breath, every life. The song 'Made For More' has such a lovely soft and tender feel to it, you will get lost in the moment as you let the song speak to you.

Two songs I would like to point you towards are 'Anointing' & 'Anointing Spirit Break' when you listen to these songs you can tell something special is happening in the room and is captured on the album for us all to experience. I would like to make a special mention to the rock track 'You're Not Done' which sounds epic and you don't hear songs like that on worship albums in general, but it felt really fresh to hear something a bit more guitar gutsy.

It might sound silly for me to say it, but this album is a little snapshot capture of what was happening at the New Wine Festival and it's time for musical worship. You have songs on here that are all out Praise songs then you have some real intimate times of worship songs that touch the soul. These are a collection of songs that are for the local church and for your own personal times of worship. 'Praise King Jesus (Live) is a great album that does all that with some amazing new songs to learn and use.
