The press release for this album summed up this compilation with these words "In times where you are unsure, feeling down, weighing a difficult decision, or need a reminder to keep on going, there's nothing more powerful than the perfect song to lift your spirits or change your mood" a bold claim, yet one that is justified with this encouraging selection of songs.
This ten track compilation album is packed with great tracks from a large selection of artists, including Brenton Brown, Newsboys, Robbie Seay Band and Jeremy Camp. To be fair this isn't a compilation album with the obvious tracks...

This ten track compilation album is packed with great tracks from a large selection of artists, including Brenton Brown, Newsboys, Robbie Seay Band and Jeremy Camp. To be fair this isn't a compilation album with the obvious tracks that have seemed to be placed on a large amount of compilation albums that have been released in the last few months.
Pull Me Out by Bebo Norman is a strong uplifting song that sets the tone of the album, Robbie Seay Band's song Better Days is a warm track about holding on through the hard times that we all have to sometime face in life and Bethany Dillon's voice resounds strongly through the heartfelt I Believe In You which is a gem on this album that I hadn't heard before and one that has now become a favorite of mine.
The album has probably my personal favorite worship song cover, Blessed Be Your Name which was written by Matt Redman and covered by Newsboys a good few years ago, and their version is as good as any I have ever heard. Another classic song that makes an appearance on this compilation is Brenton Brown's original version of his best known song Everlasting God which as always is a great song with great vocals from Brenton.
I Still Believe has a great track-listing, it's full of songs that will encourage, inspire and help you make it through the day, with all the struggles that it seems to throw at us. Thankfully we have a God to hold onto during the hard times and the easier times, as Matt Redman puts it "Blessed be Your name, On the road marked with suffering, Though there's pain in the offering, Blessed be Your name".
