"I wrote 'Pass It On' as a young father asking God a simple, honest question: What do I really need to pass on to my kids? At 27 years old, raising four children, that question isn't theoretical for me - it's daily life. The answer I kept coming back to was this: if I pass on a real love for God, I’ve given them everything they'll ever need.
'Pass It On' has been a crowd favorite at my live shows for years. Parents and grandparents stop me after the night is over asking where they can hear it again. Until now, it’s only lived on stage. This release has been a long time coming.
The song leans into Christian Country with a Cody Johnson - style storytelling influence - honest, acoustic-driven, and rooted in faith and family. It was produced by Alex Jordan of the Jordan Family Band, keeping the sound authentic, Southern, and heartfelt.
