Caspar McCloud Band Releases Live Album 'Stay Awake America'
The Caspar McCloud Band are back with their new album, 'Stay Awake America', recorded live on tour. The 16-song album features tracks from the group's recent albums 'Beyond Magnificent', 'Immortality', 'Back To Back' and 'Black Swan' recorded last year on tour.
"We have a live album coming out called 'Stay Awake America' that we recorded on the Stay Awake America Tour and after that we have another band album of new original songs scheduled for 2026", explained Caspar McCloud.
Discussing the title track in a recent interview with Louder Than The Music, Caspar said, "The title itself, 'Stay Awake America,' serves as a clarion call to our moral and spiritual consciousness. It echoes the words of the Lord Jesus when he asked his disciples to stay awake and pray during his darkest hour, as he faced the cross. What's poignant about that moment in scripture is the disappointment he felt when his disciples, his closest friends fell asleep. It's a powerful reminder that in times of great turmoil and challenge, we need to remain vigilant and engaged. In the same way, I believe we must stay awake in our current societal climate, where distractions and false narratives can easily lead us astray."
Caspar McCloud is a remarkable figure whose talents span across music, ministry, and writing, all driven by a deep passion to inspire faith and hope. As a world-class guitarist, singer, and songwriter, he fuses technical mastery with sincere worship, creating a powerful spiritual experience for audiences worldwide. His impressive performance history includes collaborations with legendary artists like Tommy James and the Shondells, Phil Keaggy, and the late Rick Derringer. The Caspar McCloud Band has delighted fans during their Stay Awake America tour, and Caspar himself has graced stages at notable events such as Clay Clark and General Flynn's Reawaken tours and the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock, now the We festival - where he was the sole Christian artist.
Recognized early as a musical prodigy, Caspar's journey took a profound turn when he shifted from secular music into a dedicated walk with Christ. Today, he serves as the Senior Pastor of The Upper Room Fellowship in Georgia, seamlessly blending his musical talents with a calling to preach the Gospel. His ministry emphasizes healing, deliverance, and preparing believers for the spiritual battles of the last days.
Beyond music and pastoral work, Caspar is a compelling author, exploring themes like spiritual warfare and the science of epigenetics through a biblical perspective. His books, including Unmasking the Future and What Was I Thinking, offer believers practical guidance for standing firm in their faith while delving into the spiritual roots of contemporary issues.
At concerts and conferences, attendees experience Caspar's unique ability to intertwine worship, biblical teaching, and practical insight, inspiring believers to walk boldly in their God-given purpose and embrace the hope found in Jesus Christ.
