The winners of the 68th GRAMMY Awards were announced yesterday at the awards ceremony held in Los Angeles. In the Christian and Gospel categories, there were wins for Brandon Lake, Cece Winans, Israel & New Breed, Darrel Walls and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

Best Gospel Performance/Song was "Come Jesus Come" by Cece Winans Featuring Shirley Caesar. Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song went to Brandon Lake for "Hard Fought Hallelujah". The Best Gospel Album award went to Darrel Walls for "Heart Of Mine", and the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album award went to Israel & New Breed for their Spanish language album "Coritos Vol. 1". Meanwhile Best Roots Gospel Album was The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's "I Will Not Be Moved (Live)".

Beloved worship trailblazers The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir have taken home the 2026 GRAMMY Award for Best Roots Gospel Album for their StowTown Records set, I Will Not Be Moved: Live with The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Marking the seventh Recording Academy honor for The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and the first-ever GRAMMY win for StowTown Records, the award was presented during the 68th GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony, held earlier today in Los Angeles.

“We are deeply grateful to receive this GRAMMY Award,” says Carol Cymbala, founding musical director of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. “We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Recording Academy and all those who made this honor possible.”

The 2025 project spotlights guest turns from two-time Dove Award winners Babbie Mason and TaRanda Greene; Elevation Church’s Brad Hudson; and Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Stephen McWhirter.
