Louder Than The Music

Manchester's LZ7 have released their new single 'This Little Light' today, 26th September 2010. The band are aiming to enter the UK charts with the single which was launched last night at a special event held at the Manchester Apollo. Four versions of the song are available for download now from iTunes, with all four individually counting towards a possible chart place.

As well as the 2010 radio edit and the album version, two club re-mixes of 'This Little Light' are available: 'Starz Angles Remix' and 'Kenny Hayes Remix / All Around the World'. The band are urging fans to download the single this week to maximise the chance of getting the single into the charts, and getting it played on British radio stations.

In a further boost to the single's chances, campaigning group 'Invade The Airwaves - Christian music topping the UK Charts', who famously helped Delirious? get their 'History Maker' single to Number 4 in the charts at Easter, have thrown their support behind LZ7's single. The campaign's facebook page has over 77,000 members who will be asked to support LZ7's single.

Delirious? lead singer Martin Smith has also given his support to the single, saying "I love everything that LZ7 are and the message they stand for. Let's get right behind the 'Shine Your Light' campaign and 'This Little Light' release. Spread the word."

The band are fronted by by ex-Tribe member Lindz, with Rob on drums, former Blushuk singer Nic and dancer/singer Nana from the group Futunity. Over the summer LZ7 have been working with tens of thousands of kids across the UK, performing their music and spreading their 'Shine Your Light' message.
