NCS Collective's 'Nothing But The Name' Unites Worship Veterans And Standout Newcomers

Mar 14 2026

Nothing But The Name, the highly anticipated live worship set from Nashville Christian Songwriters' NCS Collective, is slated for release April 10. Produced by Chris Springer, the NCS Records (NRT Music) project showcases 12 original tracks aligning some of Christian music’s leading artists and songwriters alongside NCS’ stable of rising standouts.

With songwriting contributions from such worship veterans as Meredith Andrews, Mia Fieldes, Ben Schofield, and Ryan Hall, among others, Nothing But The Name features collaborations with acclaimed singer/songwriters Clark Beckham, Dara Maclean, John Chisum, Coby James, and Jack O’Brien, as well as burgeoning NCS Records artists Justin Barnett, Anne Elise Sherrod, and Ezra Worship Initiative.

"The vision of NCS Collective is to share a broad range of music being created in the NCS ecosystem,” explains Nashville Christian Songwriters founder and president John Chisum. "Nothing But The Name presents some of the best new modern worship songs bubbling up from our community of songwriters and artists while also defying age and style limitations in worship. We believe God has given us a mission to expand the boundaries of worship music and we hope this collection marks a significant step in that direction.”

The album’s title-cut and latest single, an emotive worship ballad written by Mia Fieldes, Justin Barnett, and Bryant Urich, is now available on streaming platforms. Led by Barnett - NCS Records’ newest signee - ‘Nothing But The Name’ aptly encapsulates the project’s overarching theme.

“‘Nothing But The Name’ sets the tone for the record, pointing to the simple but essential truth that the only hope for the world is Jesus,” says Barnett. “I pray that singing the names of God through this song enables the Church to focus on the truth found in His name and see Him as He truly is. I pray it fills worshipers with hope in Him.”

Among multiple key tracks, Nothing But The Name is highlighted by “Mystery,” a stirring anthem co-written by and featuring American Idol alum and NCS Records singer/songwriter Clark Beckham; the impassioned “Can You See It,” co-penned and performed by Dove-nominated singer/songwriter Dara Maclean; and “You Are More,” which spotlights NCS Records' Anne Elise Sherrod and Ezra Worship Initiative.
