'This Little Light' Single From LZ7 Still Needs More Support
The brand new single from LZ7 'This Little Light' was released into the charts on Sunday and climbed 50 places in the first 24 hours in the iTunes chart from 130 to 59. The band have a genuine chance of getting into the official UK singles chart this Sunday, but after a promising start progress has stalled. LZ7 are urging more people in the UK to download the single this week to help promote the Shine Your Light campaign which encourages young people to engage in acts of kindness.
Four versions of the song are available for download now at iTunes for just 79p each, with all four versions individually counting towards a possible chart place.
Talking exclusively to LouderThanTheMusic, LZ7 front man Lindz said, "The song 'This Little Light' is all about about inspiring a young person to let their light shine by making good fashionable again... by them shining, by doing some little random acts of kindness, whether its teaching your Gran to text or giving a copper a hi-5... so the song is the anthem to all these acts of kindness to show the world that young people can have a positive impact on the world. We want to see a whole movement of young people shining so what better place to see this happen that putting the song in the charts."
