If you’ve been following the LTTM website, you’ll know we’ve been reviewing many previous EP releases and singles from this first volume release-and it probably won’t surprise you that we’re loving the music Grace is creating. She takes well-loved songs and reinvents them with her own distinctive punk edge. And this album showcases a lovely 8 tracks as the first collection.

The EP opens with the brilliant “Dusty Bibles,” setting the tone with a punchy, direct energy that carries straight into the excellent “Lemonade.” There’s a real sense of purpose in these early tracks, with Grace leaning fully into the immediacy of the sound.

Her take on “Build Your Kingdom Here” (originally by Rend Collective) is another standout, made even more special by the inclusion of Chris from the band, whose distinctive vocals fit seamlessly into this reimagined version.

Musically, this is pop-punk at its best-driven by loud guitars, energetic drums, and delivered with the power and conviction you’d expect from a standout punk record.

Next up is what might be the most recognisable Hillsong track of all: “Oceans.” Seeing Grace Graber take on such a huge song-and turn it into a punk track-immediately grabbed my attention. The original by Hillsong Worship was a defining moment in contemporary Christian music and has become a global staple, heard everywhere from church services to TikTok clips.

That familiarity makes any reinvention a risk—but Grace pulls it off. Her punk take keeps the strength of the original songwriting while completely flipping the sound on its head. It’s bold, refreshing, and proof that a truly great song can thrive in any style-a statement that really applies to every cover on this album and all it's tracks.

Closing track “Why I Still Believe” is an original from Grace and, for me, stands out as one of the album’s many highlights. It also leaves you hoping this won’t be the last time we hear her own material. If you’re looking for Christian music with a punk edge, this album is an easy recommendation—Grace has a powerful punk rock voice and a real instinct for what works in this style. Volume 2 feels inevitable, but until then, this is definitely worth your time.
