Louder Than The Music

The brand new single from LZ7, 'This Little Light', entered the official UK singles chart at number 26 yesterday, 3rd October 2010. The single was also number 4 on the Indie charts following a week of support from the band's dedicated following of supporters. Throughout last week the single continued to gain attention, getting played on MTV and picking up support on social networking sites.

Not settling for their first week's chart position, the band are now keen to keep the momentum going into a second week. "Thank you so so much for all your support to get us this far", wrote the band on their Facebook page. "We are gonna be gunning for next weeks chart and you are all part of it. You got us to 26 and that's amazing, imagine and dream what impact 'This Little Light' would have on the world if it hit the top 10. Dream some dreams and get behind it this week. Let's get it higher...who is up for it! Let's get on it and push it coz it will get played from now on on MTV and radio. Who is with us?"

Four versions of the song are available for download now at iTunes for just 79p each, with all four versions individually counting towards a possible chart place.

In an exclusive interview with LouderThanTheMusic, LZ7 front man Lindz said, "The song 'This Little Light' is all about about inspiring a young person to let their light shine by making good fashionable again... by them shining, by doing some little random acts of kindness, whether its teaching your Gran to text or giving a copper a hi-5... so the song is the anthem to all these acts of kindness to show the world that young people can have a positive impact on the world. We want to see a whole movement of young people shining so what better place to see this happen that putting the song in the charts."
