John Allan Announces 'LIVE FROM ANAHEIM' EP
Southern California native, multi-instrumentalist and indie rock, alt-pop worship artist John Allan releases his first live-recorded Centricity Music EP, LIVE FROM ANAHEIM, June 5. The EP features The Killers influenced alternative pop, Worship Leader Magazine-highlighted “Living God” and declarative, fist-pumping praise anthem “Resurrection Power.” Both songs are available now at streaming and digital outlets everywhere along with pre-buy/save options for the full recording.
Capturing both high-quality audio and video during the recording of the EP at his Anaheim, CA House of Blues concert Nov. 23, Allan posted on Instagram the next day: “We were honored to bow down alongside your vibrant hearts last night. Thank you for choosing to spend time with our souls. Closing out a God-given evening with all of you was a privilege. I love you eternally. Eyes on Heaven.”
Along with “Resurrection Power” and “Living God,” LIVE FROM ANAHEIM features “Keep On Finding More,” an atmospheric, arena-ready offering Allan wrote with Andy Cherry (Franni Cash, Seph Schlueter) and Blake Wiggins (Maverick City Music, Stephen McWhirter) during a writing retreat in Washington state. A moody, yet vibrant anthem lifted by the voices attending the House of Blues event, “Keep On Finding More” expands on the truth found in Ephesians 3:20, exalting God above all this life has to offer.
“All of the good things are from His heart: imagination, wonder, creativity, love, mercy, hope,” says Allan. “The same God that hung the stars and breathed the planets is in the details right here, right now. Whether you're 10-years-old or 90-years-old, we know that He can be counted on. You can keep on finding more in His name.”
