Worship Leader Nick Schippers Releases 'Fresh Fire'
Nick Schippers, a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader known for his gripping and authentic music style, releases his latest single, 'Fresh Fire'.
Nick's work draws inspiration from various genres of music and seeks to bring a message of hope and empowerment to his listeners. He believes that real and original music can bring healing to one's soul, and inspire people to better understand God's path and purpose for their lives.
"Between the ages of 16-20 my life was a bit of a dumpster fire", admits Nick. "I partied way too hard, liked to escape reality via alcohol, and I ended up in jail on 3 different occasions on alcohol related charges. At my rock bottom I was suicidal and in desperate need of salvation. After my last stint in jail, on March 30, 2007, I met Jesus in a powerful way and was saved by His grace.
I write songs, preach His word, and create new things all for the purpose of drawing attention to His greatness! He is the reason I'm not dead. He is the reason I have hope. He is the reason I know how to love. He is the one who resurrected my life from the depths of destruction! All praise be to Jesus! The Name above all Names!"
