Contemporary Christian Music rising star Mary-Clair has announced the upcoming release of her newest original music, featuring CCM rapper Steven Malcolm, called 'Rise Up,' out June 12th via Nashville’s Vere Music. Recorded and mixed at Fleauxmotion, Franklin, TN, the song was written by Mary-Clair, Steven Malcolm and Tedd Tjornhom, and produced by Tedd T.

“’Rise Up' is a summertime jam to listen to by the pool or dancing with your friends. It glorifies God and gives a listener an anthem to turn up when they need encouragement,” reflected Mary-Clair, adding, “Featuring Steven Malcolm, this song is guaranteed to turn your day around!"

Created in conjunction with Kanakuk Kamp’s annual Memorial Day Weekend event, “Rise Up,” this year’s event theme song, is a follow-up to the singer/songwriter’s 2025 “Kanakuk Song,” featuring Tinashe.

In the midst of working on “Rise Up,” Mary-Clair headed to Chattanooga, TN, for a crowd-pleasing debut performance on May 16th, at the 2026 Jfest Music, Arts and Lifestyle Festival, Tennessee Valley’s largest annual Christian Music festival in Chattanooga. Among songs showcased were streaming, fan and critic favorites, “Your Love,” “Homesick,” “Heaven in the Way,” “There’s a God,” “Enough” and “Never be the Same.” Throughout the day, the multi-talented artist met with fans and fellow musicians.

Speaking extensively with WDEF-TV’S News 12 This Morning prior to show day in a live appearance, Mary-Clair expressed her excitement, later saying, “Playing Jfest meant the world to me. It was my first big show as an artist, and I couldn’t wait for such a wonderful day,” adding “J103 was the first radio station to play one of my songs, so being there for Jfest was an honor and privilege for me, seeing some great music and putting on my first real show.

“There’s A God,” produced by Jeff Pardo, available everywhere, continues its momentum after the song’s initial release earlier this year. The Nashville-based star looks forward to more live performances throughout the summer where she will continue to entertain an ever-growing fan base with song favorites from her 2025 acclaimed Vere Music debut album, Enough.

The captivating video for “There’s A God” premiered during New Release Today’s 14th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards Show recently where Mary-Clair also received a nomination for Best New Artist/Group Song for “Your Love.” Shot in Nashville, the visually stunning yet minimalist performance clip directed by Evan Smith and Duncan Smith shows the singer as her most honest and authentic self. The acoustic-driven ballad has quickly become a fan favorite, earning placements on multiple faith-based playlists across Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and more.

Produced by 2x GRAMMY Award-winning producer and songwriter Tedd T (Dolly Parton, for KING & COUNTRY, MercyMe), apart from “There’s A God,” the collection sees the gifted 22-year-old Nashville native forging her own distinctive vision of contemporary Christian pop on such recent hit singles as “Red Eye,” “Enough,” “Your Love,” and “Heaven In the Way,” the latter two joined by official music videos streaming now alongside additional visuals, “Story Behind the Song” videos, and more at the Mary-Clair YouTube channel.

Nashville native Mary-Clair previously attended the Lionsgate major faith film sequel I Can Only Imagine 2 Nashville premiere and red carpet. The gifted singer/songwriter is portrayed in the movie by her sister Ruthie Brickell, holding a deeply personal connection to the project, and adding an intimate and heartfelt layer to the story behind one of contemporary Christian music’s most beloved anthems.
