Anthony Evans and Kaleb Carson Have The #1 Gospel Song In The Country
Acclaimed worship leader, singer-songwriter, producer, and author Anthony Evans is celebrating a major career milestone as his powerful duet with rising artist Kaleb Carson, 'You're Not Finished,' has reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay and Mediabase Gospel charts. The achievement marks both artists' first-ever No. 1 radio single.
Co-written by Evans, Carson, and Danielle Munizzi, “You’re Not Finished” has resonated deeply with listeners through its message of hope, perseverance, and faith in God's promises.
The song's success is especially meaningful given Carson's remarkable story. After being diagnosed with leukemia at just two years old and given only a 10 percent chance of survival, doctors warned his family that he would likely never speak due to complications from a life-saving procedure.
Today, Carson celebrates his first No. 1 as a recording artist and is poised for a breakout year after being hand-selected by multi-platinum R&B icon Babyface to join him on tour for the remainder of 2026.
“When I first heard Kaleb's story, I was blown away by his faith and perseverance,” says Evans. “To see him overcome impossible odds and use his voice to encourage others is inspiring. My hope is that this song reminds people that no matter what they're facing, God is still writing their story.”
The chart-topping achievement comes during a busy season for Evans, who continues to expand his impact as an independent artist, worship leader, producer, and entrepreneur. This month, he returns to the road alongside multi-GRAMMY Award-winning artist Chandler Moore for the highly anticipated WORSHIP: Grateful Nights Tour, a nine-city worship experience designed to bring healing, hope, and encouragement through beloved worship anthems, modern praise favorites, and powerful moments of gratitude and reflection.
The tour is produced by Evans’ Sherman James Productions, which handles album production, management, publishing projects and live events, including the recently wrapped FerVent Tour, a multi-night faith experience featuring his sister and bestselling author and Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer and Evans centered on strategic prayer, powerful teaching, and inspiring worship.
In addition, Evans recently released his uplifting new summer anthem, “Good Plans.” Co-written by Danielle Munizzi, Evans, Chandler Moore, and Kaleb Carson, the song draws inspiration from Jeremiah 29:11 and serves as a reminder that God’s purpose and promises remain steadfast even when life's path is uncertain. Listen to "Good Plans" now.
“Sometimes your journey to experiencing the good plans God has for you starts with looking to no one other than Him,” says Evans. “This song is about choosing faith over fear and trusting that God's plans are always greater than what we can see.”
With a No. 1 single, a growing partnership with Carson, a new release, and a national worship tour underway, Evans continues to use his platform to encourage listeners through authentic faith, transparency, and powerful music that points people toward hope.
