Canadian Christian Pop Artist Daniel Richter Releases 'Motivation'
Canadian Christian pop artist and worship leader Daniel Richter releases his powerful new single 'Motivation,' available now on all streaming platforms.
'Motivation' continues the momentum Richter has built since stepping into his Christian music career, following the success of 'Light That Shines,' which spent four consecutive weeks in the Top 5 of the CCRC CANCON chart, and 'Dear God,' which reached number 6 on the More Radio Canadian Content report. Daniel's song 'Jesus Be The Centre' also reached number 5 on the More Radio chart.
With this new release, Richter delivers a song built to inspire, an uplifting, pop-driven track designed to encourage listeners to keep moving forward in their faith and in their lives.
Formerly the frontman of Eleven Past One, a pop-rock band signed to Warner Music Canada known for the gold-certified hit 'The World Is Ours,' Richter walked away from mainstream success to devote his career to Christ-centered music. Now based in the Greater Toronto Area, he serves as a worship leader and music director at his local church, channeling that experience into a sound that blends pop, worship, and indie influences. His mission with every release remains the same: to glorify God and draw listeners closer to Jesus through music that brings light, hope, and transformation.
Richter's recent work has been widely recognized within the Christian music community. He was named the 2026 winner of Canadian Contemporary Music or Praise and Worship Song of the Year at the Canadian Selah Music Awards, and received three total nominations at this year's ceremony, including Canadian Male Artist of the Year. 'Motivation' arrives as the latest step in an artist development story that has taken him from Billboard Canadian Hot 100 charting singles to a growing voice in Christian radio nationwide.
