16-Year-Old Christian Artist Josh Grove Releasing Contemporary Worship Single 'Trust (Psalm 13)'
"Trust (Psalm 13)" by Josh Grove is a contemplative lament inspired by Psalm 13. The song reflects on those times when we struggle with feelings of desperation, longing, and loneliness. It captures the honest moments when we cry out to God and ask, “How long will things be like this? How long until we see change in our lives?” Yet, even in those seasons of desperation, we can choose to trust God and His faithfulness to carry us through, rejoicing with anticipation for what He will do in it all.
Built around the ache of isolation, "Trust (Psalm 13)" showcases a remarkably mature perspective from 16-year-old Josh Grove. The track captures the heavy weight of loneliness and the exhausting question of "how long?", before choosing to hold onto hope. Intimately framing his personal struggles as "paint on a canvas," Grove offers a vulnerable reminder that even in our darkest seasons, we can choose to look forward.
