Musically, this song really doesn't go where you might expect it to – and that's exactly why I fell in love with it.

There is a real sense of growth throughout the track. It builds in intensity, but not in an in-your-face way. Instead, there is something modern and rocky about the sound, while underneath it all sits this reflective energy that becomes the heartbeat of the song. There is a lot going on here, and I absolutely love it.

HOMECOMING have created a sound that feels both expansive and intimate. The music manages to capture the emotional journey between those valleys and mountaintops, with the band and songwriters doing an impressive job of bringing all these different elements together without losing the heart of the song.

And that heart is ultimately about wanting to know God more.

"Lord, I want to know You more... I want nothing more than to sing, 'I am Yours.'"

Those words sum up what yours. is really about – surrender, intimacy and a desire to draw closer to God. It's not simply a song about declaring faith; it's about wanting to go deeper in that relationship.

That's what I really like about HOMECOMING. They aren't afraid to mix different sounds and influences together to create something that feels distinctly their own. yours. is another example of that creativity, bringing together modern, rocky and reflective elements to create something that feels fresh within the worship space.
