Following their lead single “Overdue”, Christian rap veterans MotionPlus (IL) and Braille (OR) return with another preview of their upcoming collaborative EP.“Broken Vessels” has a low-key, mellow feel, but the stripped-back production works perfectly with the subject matter. The song tackles feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt and uncertainty about the future, and it's that raw honesty that really makes the track connect.
The delivery is excellent, with both artists bringing real weight and emotion to the lyrics without ever overdoing it.
If these singles are anything to go by, this collaborative EP should be well worth a listen. I can't wait to hear...
