What does it really mean to start again? For Stoke-on-Trent urban rap collective Antidote., the answer arrives in the form of their explosive new single, "Fresh" - a hard-hitting trap anthem inspired by the transformative power of faith, personal growth and becoming a new creation in Christ.
Featuring a refreshed artist lineup, Antidote. continue to push creative boundaries with their boldest and most contemporary sound to date. Produced by Vonte Grace, "Fresh" marks a new chapter for the collective, embracing a heavier trap-inspired production while staying true to the message of hope that has become their signature.
The inspiration behind "Fresh" came from a simple but deeply relatable experience: returning to familiar places, familiar faces and old situations, only for people to recognise that something about you has changed. Built around themes of renewal, identity and purpose, the track explores what it means to leave the past behind and embrace a transformed future.

That reputation was further cemented when Antidote. were invited to perform at two of the UK's biggest Christian festivals - Big Church Festival and Limitless Festival. Their performance at Big Church Festival was widely recognised as one of the weekend's most engaging and tightly executed live sets, surprising many industry professionals and earning the group an invitation to return this year. At Limitless Festival, Antidote. drew the largest crowd ever seen at the festival's After Hours Hangar, further establishing their reputation as one of the UK's most compelling live acts.
Following the release of "Fresh," Antidote. are set for another landmark summer, beginning with Lift Youth Festival on 26th July, before returning to Limitless Festival from the 5th–9th of August and Big Church Festival from the 27th-31st of August. Building on the momentum of last year's standout performances, the collective will bring their high-energy live show and message of hope to thousands of young people across the country as they continue what is shaping up to be their biggest year to date.
Antidote. are part of the King's Award-winning youth charity Ruff & Ruby, which exists to elevate the lives of young people through creative engagement, mentoring and positive opportunities.
