Emma Noonan Announces New Single 'Yes, No Or Maybe?'
Christian singer-songwriter and worship artist Emma Noonan is set to release her latest single, 'Yes, No or Maybe?' on Friday 2nd October 2026. Following the release of her third studio album, 'Everyone Who Calls...,' in April 2025, Emma has spent the past year exploring a quieter, contemplative side of worship through her Ambient Worship Collective label. This journey has included the release of 'Prayer Room Collection,' an EP of ambient instrumental music created to accompany moments of stillness, reflection and quiet time with God, released on 25th September 2026.
Now, Emma returns to her roots as a singer-songwriter with 'Yes, No or Maybe?' the first in a new collection of four vocal worship singles. At its heart, 'Yes, No or Maybe?' is a deeply personal song about prayer - and the often-unexpected ways God answers.
With an honest and relatable perspective, Emma reflects on the joy of receiving a clear “yes,” the disappointment of a “no,” and the uncertainty of an answer that seems to be “not yet.” Yet rather than focusing solely on the questions that remain unanswered, the song becomes a declaration of gratitude: thankful for the yeses, thankful for the nos, and even thankful for the maybes.
“Sometimes it’s only with hindsight that we can see that the prayers God didn’t answer in the way we wanted were actually answered in the way we truly needed.”
That theme of hindsight runs through the heart of the song. What can feel like disappointment in the moment can, with time, become a story of God’s faithfulness - a reminder that His perspective is greater than our own.
Musically, ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ blends indie-pop influences with Emma’s distinctive worship sound, creating a song that is both intimate and accessible. It is a song for anyone who has ever prayed for something with all their heart, only to find that the answer looked very different from what they expected.
A key scripture behind the song is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
For Emma, this verse has been a source of encouragement through many different seasons, and its message sits at the centre of ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’: the invitation to trust that even when we cannot see the whole picture, God is still at work.
‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ marks the beginning of a new chapter in Emma’s music - one that brings together honest storytelling, contemporary indie-pop sounds and a faith that is willing to ask difficult questions while continuing to trust the One who holds the answers.
