Mr. Weaverface Surpasses 1 Million Lifetime Streams On Spotify

Oct 18 2026

Independent Christian rock artist Mr. Weaverface has surpassed 1 million lifetime streams on Spotify, marking a major milestone for an artist whose music combines the sound of '90s alternative rock with a message rooted in Scripture, personal testimony and the power of Jesus Christ.

Influenced by alternative rock and post-grunge bands including Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, U2, Our Lady Peace and Stone Temple Pilots, Mr. Weaverface writes and performs original rock music centered on spiritual warfare, the Good News of Jesus Christ and the freedom found through faith.

For Mr. Weaverface, the music is deeply personal.

“Most of my songs are really testimonies,” says Mr. Weaverface. “They're about things I've personally gone through-battles, spiritual warfare, deliverance, sanctification and the ways I've seen God intervene in my life. I write these songs because I want people who are going through similar battles to know that they're not alone, and that Jesus can transform their lives.”

The 1-million-stream milestone comes after several of Mr. Weaverface's songs have individually connected with listeners around the world. Four of his songs have surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify:

“O God, Help Me” - 157K+ streams
“Thorn In My Flesh” - 121K+ streams
“Above All Names” - 115K+ streams
“Writing on the Wall” - 116K+ streams

His music has also found an audience through curated playlists on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, with his recent releases “Identity Theft” and “Writing on the Wall” receiving playlist placements.
Chart Success

Mr. Weaverface's breakthrough single, “Above All Names,” spent 26 weeks on the Christian Music Weekly Top 25 Christian Rock chart, peaking at #6. The song was also nominated for Rock Song of the Year at the 2024 We Love Christian Music Awards.

His follow-up single, “O God, Help Me,” spent 34 weeks on the Christian Music Weekly Christian Rock chart, including 10 weeks in the Top 10, and peaked at #5.

“O God, Help Me” has also taken on another life through film and storytelling. The song serves as the featured track for Stand Firm: A Light in the Shadows, a developing Christian anime series from Lamb Light Studios that combines Christian faith, biblical inspiration and epic storytelling.
From Pennsylvania Stages to National Christian Festivals

Mr. Weaverface has been performing music for more than 30 years, appearing at venues throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region, including the Reading, Philadelphia, Allentown, York and Lancaster areas.

Since 2022, he has shared the stage with Christian artists including Skillet, Crowder, Colton Dixon, Ben Fuller, The Protest, Behold the Beloved, Magdalene Rose, Devin Williams, Undefeated, End of I and Matt Sassano, among others.

He has also performed at numerous Christian music festivals, including:

SoulFest
Agape Festival
SoulStock
Signal Boost Festival
Northcountry Music Festival
Return Festival
HOPE Christian Music Festival
Ichthus Music Festival

In addition to performing his own music, Mr. Weaverface has spent more than 20 years serving as a guitarist and worship leader with the worship team at Community Evangelical Church in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania.
A Different Kind of Christian Rock Artist

While music has been a lifelong passion, Mr. Weaverface has also maintained a career outside the music industry. He is a full-time optometrist and owner of Weaver Eye Care Associates, with private practices in Bernville and Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Balancing music, optometry, ministry and family life has allowed Mr. Weaverface to approach songwriting from a perspective that is not solely focused on the music industry.

“I've never wanted the music to just be about me,” he says. “If God can take something I've gone through and use it to help somebody else who is struggling, then that's what makes it worthwhile.”

With more new music and live performances ahead, Mr. Weaverface intends to continue using his original blend of alternative rock and Christian testimony to reach listeners who may be facing their own battles.

“One million streams is an incredible milestone, and I'm extremely grateful to everyone who has listened, shared a song, added a song to a playlist or come out to a show,” says Mr. Weaverface. “But ultimately, I hope the number represents more than streams. I hope it represents people who heard a message of hope and were reminded of what Jesus can do.”
