Northern Ireland worship band Rend Collective have announced a nine-date tour of the UK and Ireland in May 2027. 'The Good Old Days Start Now Tour 2027' kicks off in Edinburgh, Scotland on 10th May, followed by dates in England, in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Ipswich, Bath, Oxford and London, before ending in Dublin in Ireland on 24 May. Tickets are on sale now via the group's website.

"Expect a lot of joy, a fair amount of dancing, and more instruments than anyone strictly needs", said the group's Chris Llewellyn. "Hymns that have been sung for two hundred years, songs we've only just finished writing, your favourites, and a great deal of straightforward praise in between.

Come as you are, and bring your friends, your family, and whoever lives either side of you. Bring your whole life too: the gratitude and the ache, the year that didn't go how you planned, the people you're missing, and the questions you can't ask out loud anywhere else. Worship was always meant to hold all of it.

About the name. There's a line in one of the new songs: the rear view's a curse, you can't follow God in reverse.

We can't live off yesterday's manna. Yesterday's miracles. The stories we've all been recycling. The Great I Am is not past tense. If you've still got a heartbeat, He's still got something planned for you, a hope and a future, as the prophet put it.
